UX Creatives

A design agency's site must be its best piece of work. Faraz owned the vision. My job was to make Webflow deliver it without compromise.

Faraz designed it. I built every scroll animation, video hover, live clock, and animated counter: pixel-perfect.

  • Design to Webflow
  • Scroll Animations
  • Scalable CMS
  • Video Interactions

The brief behind the build.

The animation work on UX Creatives isn't decoration: each scroll-triggered sequence serves the narrative. It's how the site communicates that this agency pays attention to experience at every level. But complex animation in Webflow requires building without killing performance. Every interaction was built CSS-native where possible, JavaScript only where Webflow's native interactions couldn't reach.

The portfolio of 400+ projects also needed a CMS architecture that scales indefinitely. New work needs to publish without developer involvement. Featured projects need to be toggleable from the editor. The filter system needs to work on 10 items and still work on 400.

How we built it.

Explore the main parts of the build.

Six scroll-triggered animation sequences: each distinct

Every major section has its own entrance animation. Some fade up, some slide in from opposing directions, some scale from a masked container. No two sections animate the same way. The site has rhythm without repetition.

Five CMS collections: works, services, testimonials, team, process

Every piece of content is CMS-driven. Faraz's team adds new portfolio pieces, updates service descriptions, publishes testimonials, and manages the process section without touching a developer.

Video portfolio: six project showreels on hover

Each featured work card plays a video preview on hover, lazy-loaded for performance. Prospects experience the agency's output in motion, not just static screenshots.

Performance maintained despite animation complexity

CSS-first animation strategy keeps the interaction file size minimal. Lazy-loaded videos prevent performance hits. Rich motion with no trade-off on speed.

Fully responsive: animations adapted for mobile

On mobile, hover interactions don't exist. Each interaction was rethought for touch: scroll-triggers kept but adapted for smaller viewports. The site feels designed for mobile, not ported to it.

The decisions behind the website.

The details that shaped the finished build.

  1. 01

    Hero video

Auto-playing background with staggered text entrance. The hero opens with a video fade and text staggered in, setting the agency's tone in the first two seconds.

  2. 02

    Portfolio hover

Video preview on hover: lazy-loaded per card. Featured work cards reveal video project showreels on hover. Each video loads only on trigger: zero performance cost until the visitor engages.

  3. 03

    Counter animation

Stats count up when they enter the viewport. 8+ years, 400+ projects, 40+ collaborations: each counts from zero using a custom JS intersection observer.

  4. 04

    Live clock

Real-time local time: custom JS, timezone-accurate. A live clock updating every second. A small humanising detail that makes the agency feel present and available.

  5. 05

    CMS architecture

5 collections: works, services, testimonials, team, process. New portfolio pieces publish with the correct layout automatically. Featured toggle controls homepage visibility.

  6. 06

    Marquee loops

Services and logos: CSS-only, infinite, zero JS weight. Service categories and client logos scroll in continuous CSS marquees. Communicates breadth without overwhelming the layout.

What changed.

UX Creatives now has a website that behaves like a portfolio piece in itself. The scroll-triggered animations, the video-on-hover portfolio, the live clock, the counter stats: each one communicates that this agency pays attention to experience at every level.

The CMS architecture means Faraz's team can add new case studies, publish featured work, update the process section, and grow the team page entirely without developer involvement. A portfolio of 400+ projects doesn't become a maintenance burden. It becomes a compound asset that gets richer over time.

I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Waleed on several projects, and I can confidently say that he's a Webflow wizard. His mastery of responsive design, CMS, and ecommerce features has resulted in stunning, user-friendly websites that exceed client expectations.
